From the vantage point of a missionary, The Expositors Seminary has two fabulous strengths. First, there is extensive training on the subject of biblical leadership. Second, each pastoral trainee must study the subject of international ministry and is required to develop a Biblical philosophy of international ministries as a part of the curriculum. Both of these issues form a major component of pastoral and missionary ministry. Pastors and missionaries must lead, yet the typical seminary curriculum does not establish a theology of leadership, intentionally training men to do the very thing God calls them to do. Additionally, it is essential that pastors provide informed and visionary leadership for the international ministries of their church—today, many churches need this kind of leadership. As a churchman and missions leader, it is refreshing to have a seminary that embraces both of these Biblical priorities in the training process.
